Hi Monica,
I live in upstate NY
Hello from a fellow knitter and KVVS "traveler". I have only two cats and it seems they are in total control of me. How do you do it with seven? Sounds like there is much love in your home.
Living in a lighthouse sounds like a great place to have peace, solitude, and knitting time.
